This workshop supports international students in understanding the purpose and practice of academic research within the German higher education context. Participants will gain clarity about the expectations of doctoral studies in Germany, become familiar with organizational and formal requirements, and reflect on what defines careful and responsible academic work.By the end of the workshop, they will be better prepared to plan their next steps toward a PhD and to engage in independent scientific work.
