We currently have around 4,550 young people studying inbachelor's and master's degree programmes in the fields of technology, business, social affairs and health. According to the slogan:"Innovation for quality of life - health, precision, sustainability & networking" we strive for interdisciplinary cooperation in teaching and research. The university offers its students innovative and scientifically sound studies with a high practical relevance.

The close cooperation with companies, institutions and associations ensures a practical education. Most final theses are written in cooperation with the partners. Our university has close regional ties and an international orientation. It actively uses its extensive networks with science, business and society and has a very good reputation.

Not so small at all! The Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences (EAH) Jena was founded in 1991 as the University of Applied Sciences Jena and was thus one of the first in the new federal states. For some years now, it has been not only Thuringia's largest, but also its most research-intensive university of applied sciences. Nevertheless, everything is close together here. The campus is built in such a way that it is easy to change rooms on foot. The five buildings of the university are partly connected with each other and can also be walked through in this way.

A lot of attention is also paid to the modern equipment of the university.

The EAH Jena cooperates with numerous universities worldwide. The proportion of exchange students is continuously increasing. Teachers also work temporarily at universities in Europe, Asia and Africa. This development is specifically promoted by numerous cooperation agreements.

The city in the green heart of Central Germany. Jena is a true paradise and offers not only opportunities for optimal education and training. There is also a lot to discover away from the university. Due to the surrounding mountains and forests, excursions into the countryside are only a stone's throw away. Even in the middle of the city there are green areas to be found. The Paradiespark, for example, is the perfect place to barbecue and relax in the summer.

The city also has a lot to offer for sports enthusiasts. New sports can be tried out or those already practiced can be further perfected in the numerous sporting activities on offer.

Night owls beware! Of course, the day in Jena does not have to end early. Clubs and bars of different music styles open their doors in the evening and offer the perfect end to a successful day.
