• Events for school classes: The university provides information about opportunities after school at various events especially for school classes.
• We are on the road! Our Central Student Advisory Service and Master Service provide information about our degree programmes at selected education fairs and study and career information days.
• University Information Day and Master Information Day: This open day gives interested parties the opportunity to gain an insight into the wide range of degree programmes on offer. Various offers from the departments and service facilities invite you to explore the university. • Taster study programme: If you would like to experience university life up close, you should come to our taster study programme. Here you have the opportunity to take part in real lectures, seminars and various internships and get a real impression of what it's like to study. • Materials Engineering Day: This event offers the opportunity to familiarise yourself with laboratories, experience experiments and gain a comprehensive insight into the diverse field of materials engineering. • Induction days: New students are welcomed every year before the start of the winter semester as part of the induction days (STET). During these days, they receive all the important information about their degree programme and student life. There are separate events for Bachelor's and Master's students as well as various programmes offered by the departments. • Matriculation ceremony: Every year, newly enrolled students are welcomed at the matriculation ceremony. Further information can be found on the enrolment ceremony website.
• Career paths event series: After graduation comes the step that students have been working towards for years: The first job! We support this with a variety of offers as part of the Career Paths event series and prepare students for their entry into professional life. • University anniversary: In 2021, the 30th anniversary of University of Applied Sciences Jena took place under the motto #EAHJena30.
• Long Night of Sciences Jena: Keep the lights on here! University of Applied Sciences Jena is taking part in this city-wide event with an extensive programme of laboratory tours, exciting experiments and lectures. • "Praxis trifft Campus" company contact fair: This annual event gives companies the opportunity to present themselves and recruit young talent. The fair is attended by students, graduates and school classes and is an important building block in the transfer of knowledge from the university to industry.
