Career Talks in Summer Semester 2024

LinkedIn is increasingly being used by HR managers to find and attract suitable candidates for the company. The approach of addressing and retaining potential employees at a very early stage via LinkedIn is relatively new. But how can I make my profile attractive to employers in this early CV phase? What is important?

In this workshop, participants will learn how to best use LinkedIn to build their own personal brand and get their career off to the right start after or during their time at university.

Learning objectives:

  • Increase attractiveness to employers through an appealing LinkedIn profile
  • Stand out from other potential candidates on LinkedIn
  • Receive enquiries from potential employers
  • Build up your own professional brand on LinkedIn and professionalise your profile
  • Importance of an existing network and the role of permanent network expansion
  • Develop and deepen LinkedIn skills
