The semester fee must be paid at the beginning of your studies and must then be paid for each semester. This covers various items, which are listed below. With payment of your semester fee it is possible to validate the Thoska. All further information can be found directly at the Thoska office.

In Thuringia, long-term tuition fees of € 500.00 per semester are charged in addition to the semester fee if a certain number of semesters at German universities have been exceeded. If you have already studied more than 10 semesters at a German university, you can find out more about the  long-term tuition fee here and contact the Student Registrar's Office if you have any questions.

You will receive a re-registration request to your student e-mail address before each semester. In addition, you can find out the exact amount of your personal semester fee and any fees still to be paid in your student service in the tab "bills and payment".
