Parking at the university
Paid parking spaces are available for students and university staff at Houses 3, 4, and 5, as well as in the parking garage. Access to the parking areas is controlled by barriers or a rolling gate. Access authorization is granted via THOSKA after successfully reserving a parking space.
A limited number of guest parking spaces are available for external visitors. If you require one, please contact your contact person at University of Applied Sciences Jena and request a reservation. The reservation must be made at least three days prior to your planned visit to the university.
For some events, specific parking areas may be open to external guests. Please check with the event organizers in advance for details.
Due to limited capacity, we recommend traveling by public transportation or bicycle. Bicycle parking facilities are available at several central locations on campus. Please refer to the campus map for exact locations.
Ways to Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena (University of Applied Sciences Jena)
- From the stop Jena Paradies by foot to the city center (app. 5 min.), then by bus 10, 11 or 12 (direction Burgaupark / Ammerbach / Winzerla) to the stop Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena.
- From the Jena West stop, walk under the railroad bridge, then either walk left up Otto-Schott-Straße (app. 10 min) or continue by bus 10, 11 or 12 to the Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena stop.
From direction A 4:
- Exit Jena-Göschwitz: follow the main road in the direction of the city center, turn left at the left traffic light junction with the Carl-Zeiss-Promenade branch and continue in the direction of Carl-Zeiss-Promenade.
- Exit Jena-Lobeda: follow the main road in the direction of the city center until the Burgau junction, turn right past Burgaupark and continue in the direction of Carl-Zeíss-Promenade until you reach Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena.
On the B 7:
- From Eisenberg always in the direction of Weimar, on the Fürstengraben 2nd traffic light crossing turn left in the direction of the center, straight on past the post office always on the main road;
- From Weimar: until Fürstengraben, then turn right as from Eisenberg.
On the B 88:
- From Saalfeld: as from exit Göschwitz.
- From Naumburg: first on the main road in the direction of Weimar, then in Fürstengraben turn left as from B 7 (Eisenberg).
From the city centre, take the following bus lines to the Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena stop:
- bus 10 (direction Burgaupark/Lobeda-West)
- bus 11 (direction Ammerbach)
- bus 12 (direction Winzerla/Göschwitz)
