Part-time studies

Part-time study (§ 24 ImmaO der Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena) is an alternative for all those who would like to study alongside their job or caring responsibilities, such as looking after children or the sick. Compared to full-time study, part-time study offers you an extended standard period of study in which you can complete your studies. Part-time study is a suitable form of study, especially if you want to study while working.

The application for part-time studies can be submitted in each semester for two consecutive semesters by the end of the re-registration period at the latest, or for the first semester by the end of the enrolment period. The application must be sent to the Registrar's Office. Repeat applications are possible. Admission to part-time studies is subject to approval by the respective department.
