Environmental Technology
Bachelor of Science
The subject areas of environmental engineering are very diverse and require interdisciplinary skills. The 7-semester study programme begins in the first two semesters mainly with mathematical and scientific basics. Building on this, in the following semesters you will be taught the engineering content of energy and environmental technology, such as water and air pollution control, renewable energies and recycling technologies. The teaching is very practical with various laboratory practicals and exercises in small groups. In the 6th semester, you will gain industrial experience in a 20-week internship, which you can complete either in Germany or abroad. A comprehensive range of electives in the 3rd, 4th and 7th semesters gives you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in specific subject areas according to your interests.
