Summer party of the Materials Engineering degree programme

A colourful gathering of alumni, students, staff and professors.

On the afternoon of this sunny day (15.6.2023), graduates and students of the Materials Engineering degree programme, staff and professors met - for the first time since the programme was founded - to share their experiences and enjoy a summer party.

At the end of the meeting, everyone agreed that we would meet again next year. We are looking forward to the even larger group and the new stories from the lives of our graduates.

PS. Many thanks to the staff, the professors and the university management for sponsoring the event.

University newspaper "facetten"

Our university and our faculty have evolved in many ways over the past few years. The change of name to Ernst Abbe University Jena and the 30th anniversary are just two examples of many.

Perhaps you will find inspiration for your work in our university newspaper "facetten", or perhaps you simply enjoy reading news from your old university.
