The afternoon began at 2.00 pm with a champagne reception in foyer of the auditorium. This provided time for first souvenir photos and conversations.

This was followed by ceremony in the festively decorated assembly hall. The event was moderated by Prof Magerhans. In a heartfelt speech, Prof. Brandtner took over the message from university management and honoured the achievements of graduates.

Most important event was the festive ceremony on stage, where each graduate was honoured with an official certificate and a rose by the head of department and the head of degree programme.

The celebration was accompanied musically by duo ‘Beat2’, who delighted the audience with a special singing. Yara Dietzel further fuelled the atmosphere with an impressive dance performance.

In his speech, graduate Thomas Hahn from the General Management continuing education programme encouraged those present to set themselves ambitious goals and to trust in their own abilities.

After the official part, the university invited everyone to a cosy get-together - with food and drink, sharing and enjoyment, laughter and celebrating together.

For all those who wanted to see more, there was the opportunity to visit faculty premises and thus gain an insight into working and learning worlds of the university.

Feedback boxes were available to record ‘sweet words’ from graduates to their professors.
