The ceremony began in the afternoon with a champagne reception in the foyer of the auditorium and attracted many students, their families and friends. With over 160 guests, the central ceremony, which took place for the second time in this form, was a great success.

Prof Dr Steffen Teichert, President of the EAH Jena, personally bid farewell to the proud graduates with a speech.

Thomas Friedrich, a graduate of the Master's degree programme in Scientific Instrumentation, also addressed the audience and looked back on his years of study. 

A musical supporting programme created a festive atmosphere. The Jena Music and Art School offered singing with piano accompaniment. A duet of violin and piano enchanted the audience.

Following the official part of the ceremony, former students and their guests had the opportunity to gain an insight into the world of the degree programme.

After the official ceremony, a cosy get-together with food and drink created a pleasant atmosphere.
