Review: Ceremonial farewell to graduates of winter semester 2024/ 2025
The afternoon began with a champagne reception in the foyer, where graduates were able to toast their successes together with their families and friends.
Prof Dr Kristin Mitte, Vice President for Research and Development at the EAH Jena, opened the event with an appreciative speech. Nancy Reichel hosted the programme in her usual manner.
The ceremony, which took place for the fourth time in this form, was accompanied by music from the duo Beat2. A dance performance by 2 Indian students was enthusiastically received by the audience.
The presentation of the graduation certificates took centre stage. Many professors and deans presented them personally - a visible sign of solidarity.
Graduate Karsten Koppmann from the Master's degree programme in Scientific Instrumentation reviewed his time as a student.
After the ceremony, various departments opened their doors: guests were able to gain insights into teaching and research during guided tours of laboratories and skills labs. Graduates gave their feedback on their studies and left words of praise.
The event ended with informal discussions, food and drinks.
