What is the structure of the programme?
The study programme is organised as a distance learning programme, which is studied part-time: You can adapt your professional activity to the respective study model (compact study 5 semesters or part-time study 9 semesters).
The programme is divided into 1/3 attendance and 2/3 distance learning components. You choose one of two specialisations during the application process: Advanced Nursing Practice (ANP) or Casemanagement in Health Care (CHC). During the attendance phases, the course content is taught in the form of seminars and exercises. The courses are compulsory and take place as block weeks. Attendance days per module according to the overview in the table, plus 1-2 examination days per semester. The distance learning parts take place as self-study with the inclusion of distance learning materials (study letters, multimedia learning programmes, etc.).
The study materials are structured according to the modules and correspond in content and scope to lectures of a face-to-face course. Acquisition and processing of the study materials are a basic prerequisite for completing the programme. An internet platform is provided for students to exchange information with each other.
