Rescue and Emergency Care (B.Sc.)

Due to structural changes and a demand-oriented modern reorganisation in preclinical emergency care, which can be attributed to the steadily increasing number of operations, among other things, a new attractive and future-oriented job profile of emergency paramedic with promising perspectives has emerged. As an emergency paramedic, you have a high level of expertise in the field of emergency patient care, which can enable you to work far beyond the previously limited sector of emergency medical services. In combination with a first academic degree (B.Sc), you can, among other things, open up fields of activity in institutions, strive for management and leadership functions or focus on participation in research and teaching.

Rescue service: Adequate medical care of emergency patients, autonomous structuring of operations, inter-professional teamwork, leadership tasks in rescue service.

Quality management: Design of optimisation processes in the field of emergency care, development of algorithms/guidelines, further development of organisational structures

Health management: prevention work, further and advanced training, participation in research and teaching, project work in different sectors of the health system
