The festive event will take place

on Tuesday, 28 October 2025
from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm
in the "Ernst-Abbe-Hall" (formerly: "Great Hall") of the Jenaer Volkshaus, Carl-Zeiss-Platz 1.

The matriculation ceremony will have a special focus on our first-semester students and their families and friends. Of course, all ‘older’ students, university lecturers, staff and guests are also cordially invited.

So that you can all take part in the matriculation ceremony, a Dies Academicus will be proclaimed from 13:30, meaning that no lectures will take place.
