What is a visiting student status?
If you are interested in studying here, you can apply for guest student status for both bachelor’s and master’s programs. As a guest student, you can use the facilities at Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena and attend individual courses—even if you do not have a high school diploma or equivalent.
How much does it cost to be a visiting student?
Auditors are required to pay a fee. The fee for auditors is €50.00 per semester.
How do I apply to be a visiting student?
A list of available courses is published in the University of Applied Sciences Jena course catalog at the beginning of each semester. Select the courses you wish to take from the course catalog and submit an application for guest student status. The completed application can be submitted in person at the Student Office of the University of Applied Sciences Jena or sent by mail or email to studierendensekretariat@eah-jena.de. Please submit a copy of the payment receipt for the guest student status along with your application. Once you have been admitted, you will receive your guest student certificate.
