When you enter House 5 through the main entrance (Carl-Zeiss-Promenade), the library is directly to the right hand side in the entrance hall.

You have different options to get to the library us:

By car

From the city centre: Take the Magdelstieg, turn left into Tatzendpromenade and follow the road to Carl-Zeiss-Promenade 2.

From the direction of Göschwitz: Take the Rudolstädter Straße, turn into Winzerlaer Straße and follow it to Hermann-Löns-Straße. Now turn left and continue following the road until you reach Carl-Zeiss-Promenade 2.

Please note: There are only a few parking spaces available on campus.

By bus Lines 10, 11, 12 – get off the bus at the bus stop "Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule"
By train

You have to walk about 15 minutes to get from the train station "Jena West" to the Carl-Zeiss-Promenade. You can walk through the Magdelstieg or the Otto-Schott-Straße. You can also use the buslines 10, 11, 12 via the bus stop “Westbahnhofstraße” (uphill)
