What are the requirements for resigning from the library?

  • All books and other materials have been returned.
  • Any fees (that might have applied) have been paid.

If you are not a member of our university, you are not required to resign. However, you are welcome to let us know. That way we can deactivate your account.

Information for students and members of the EAH

1. Complete the registration form “Antrag auf Exmatrikulation" (exmatriculation application) and sign it.

2. Bring it to the lending desk or send it conveniently via e-mail.

3. The library staff will check for the above-mentioned requirements, sign the form and send it to the student secretariat if requested.

Can I still use the library after I handed in the exmatriculation application?

Once you have completed your studies, you can opt for staying a member of the library. You will then receive a new thoska (library card) from us for a onetime charge of 10 €.
