Looking for support for your term paper or thesis? We are here to help!

Finding the right literature for a thesis is sometimes not that easy. We want to support you.

Every Thursday 10 a.m. to 12 a.m.

Appointments outside these consultation hours are also possible by arrangement.

The KATALOGplus - Searching the library's collection

The training is an introduction to the KATALOGplus research and addresses the following questions

  • What information can I find in the KATALOGplus?
  • How do I start researching?
  • How do I research the KATALOGplus correctly?
  • What do I need the library account for?

We also offer the training in combination with the library/guided tour.

Citavi - Citing made easy for your seminar papers and theses

  • Receive an introduction to the structure and function of the program
  • Collecting and managing literature and citations
  • Insert and adapt references into your own paper

Researching for academic work - or how do I find the needle in the haystack in my field?

  • Learn everything about searching databases that are specifically relevant to you
  • Introduction to the subject-specific use of the university library's information options
  • Instructions for assessing the relevance and quality of the search results found
