The Master's programme has a standard duration of 3 semesters and can be started in either the winter or summer semester. The rapid pace of innovation demands a high degree of creativity, communication skills, professionalism and, in particular, an understanding of current business model developments, complex IT infrastructures and their evaluation and applicability in practice, as well as methods to translate the requirements and needs of customers/users more quickly into software products or digital services. The programme integrates theoretically sound business management and computer science-oriented content, while conveying the holistic way of thinking and working of a digital leader in a practice-oriented manner. In the first two semesters, specialised modules teach topics such as

- Customer experience engineering and management
- IT infrastructures and architectures in commerce
The third semester is used to write the Master's thesis. A thematic specialisation can take place in the Master's degree programme via the compulsory elective subjects in the second semester.
