VDE University Group – Strong together for your future

The VDE - Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies - is composed of areas of research, science, industry, and education and operates in these fields. The VDE supports students through the student groups and the VDE Young Net.

At the Ernst-Abbe University of Applied Sciences in Jena, a student group of the VDE is located at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. It has about 50 members and is open to all students of the EAH Jena.

The aim of the student group is to plan events, create shared experiences, and carry them out. This includes excursions to trade fairs, companies, and congresses, as well as company evenings at the university, as well as regular meetups and team events. Gaining experience, making contacts, and having fun and joy is of great importance. Reports and pictures of all activities can be found on the student group's website.

Are you also interested in getting involved, experiencing something new, exchanging ideas, and making professional contacts? Then simply come to one of our company evenings or to my office (R.05.02.10) and become a member of the VDE.
