Short CV Invited Speaker

Dr. Martin W. Lauer‑Schmaltz received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechatronics from Friedrich‑Alexander University Erlangen‑Nuremberg, Germany, in 2018 and 2020, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark in 2025, where his research focused on developing a Human Digital Twin framework for a novel stroke rehabilitation system within the EU Horizon 2020 ReHyb project, resulting in several conference and journal publications. He currently works as Digital Twin Lead at Liquid Wind, one of Europe’s leading developers of eMethanol production facilities, where he is responsible for advancing the company’s integrated Digital Twin ecosystem across design, construction, and operational phases.
