The “Digitale Bibliothek Thüringen (dbt)” (can be translated as “Digital Library of Thuringia”) is an institutional repository for Thuringian universities for collecting, indexing, preserving and providing digital scientific documents/content.
The publication of digital research/educational documents in the dbt is free of charge for members of the EAH University of Applied Sciences. Publications can be published as first and second publications.
The dbt enables, among other things:
- Fast publishing, unrestricted and free access and worldwide availability
- Ensuring findability through metadata verification
- Unique identification through URN (Uniform Resource Name) or DOI (Digital Object Identifier) and long-term archiving
- is based on the principles of Open Science
