DESCRIPTION:Programming a microcontroller is easy! In this workshop, we wil
 l take first steps with Arduino. You will get hands-on experience on simple
  microcontroller applications.\n\nArduino is a great platform for prototypi
 ng. You will learn how to implement simple control logic and state displays
 . This may serve as a good start for putting a microcontroler at work in yo
 ur own project.\n\nThe workshop will also provide you with a brief overview
  of different microcontroller families and what they are good for. This wil
 l help you to switch platforms if your project’s development hits some limi
 tations of the Arduino platform.\n\nThis workshop assumes basic knowledge i
 n C/C++ programming. No previous experience with microcontrollers is expect
 ed. Please bring your laptop and install the Arduino environment from https
 ://arduino.cc in advance. We will provide Arduino development boards.\n\nWo
