Online Services for Your Studies at the University of Applied Sciences Jena

Once you are enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences Jena, you will receive your student account data (username/user ID and a password). You can find the document "Student Account Data" with your login information in the Campusportal uin the Student Services Section in the "Requested Reports/Reports" tab. With your student account dats, you have access to all systems connected to the central user management system of the Service Center for Computer Science (SZI) at the University of Applied Sciences Jena.

You can access most services by clicking on "Web Services" in the top right corner of the website www.eah-jena.de.

You can use the following services with your student account datas:

You can access your university email account (OWA) at owa.univ-jena.de. There you will receive all student-related emails as well as an optional web calendar. Exam-related information, internships, and part-time student jobs, as well as essential re-registration notices, are sent here. Therefore, be sure to check your emails regularly. Once you have successfully logged in, you can view your student emails, send emails, or have them forwarded to your personal email account.

All major universities around the world are part of a shared Wi-Fi network called easyroam. This means that no matter which university you’re at, you can log in to the Wi-Fi for free and enjoy internet access, provided that the university offers this network. Many student dormitories now offer only easyroam as well. 

You can find information on how to sign up at www.easyroam.de or on the University of Applied Sciences Jena IT portal.

My EAH is the university’s intranet. Here you’ll find links, documents, and information you need to navigate your daily life as a student. The homepage displays all the important information, such as links to IT services, the class schedule, and the cafeteria menu. You can also view all documents related to your studies, such as exam schedules, forms, or calls for thesis proposals. Under the “Departments” tab, you’ll also find your department. Here you’ll find, for example, the course catalogs, study and examination regulations, and module catalogs. 

Note: When logging in, you must use net\username as your username (please enter your student username).

In the Student Service section of the Campusoortal, you can access your enrollment and study certificates (under the "Requested Reports/Reports" tab) as well as information on re-registration (under the "Payments" tab). You can also update your personal information there, such as your address.

You can manage your exams using the self-service portal at selfservice.stud.eah-jena.de. Under the “Exam Management” section, you will find all the information regarding which exams you are registered for and which exams you need to register for. Please check your exam registrations and withdrawals each semester during the official registration and withdrawal periods. You can also find your current transcript here under the “Exam Management” section.

You can find your schedule here shortly before the semester begins. 

Moodle is a learning platform used by faculty and students at the University of Applied Sciences in Jena to create and manage online courses. The platform offers various features and tools that facilitate learning and communication. You can access many lecture notes and exercise materials via the online learning platform “Moodle.” You will also be notified here of the access details for web conferences and online and hybrid events. In the Moodle portal, you can use a search function to look for specific instructors or module names (courses), as well as navigate through the semester trees. Some courses are protected by a registration/access password. You will typically receive the access password for logging in or registering for the courses during the first session. 

The Stud.IP learning platform is offered for the Department of Social Work.

Your library account provides an overview of all items you have checked out from the university library. Here you can:

  • Renew, reserve, and order books and other materials
  • Issue proxy access for others
  • Save favorites lists and share them with others
