On 14 and 15 October, a hybrid lecture series on "Sustainability in an International Context" took place. This marked the start of our anniversary festival weeks.

This event was organized by the departments of Business Administration, Medical Engineering and Biotechnology, and Industrial Engineering.

All first-year students with parents and friends as well as all university members, alumni, partners and friends of the university were cordially invited to our matriculation ceremony - via livestream from the university auditorium.

Research Day on 27.10.

Digital working environments were the focus of this year's Research Day at the EAH Jena:

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Multi-Generation Smart Community project designed the morning with an online workshop program in Gather.Town. From 1.30 p.m. the actual Research Day took place with an extensive lecture programme, the final round of the student poster competition and an accompanying project exhibition in the EAH auditorium. Participation was possible in presence or via the live stream of the EAH.

International Day

On International Day, our students, all other university members and all interested parties were invited to find out about our partner universities.

There were conversations with our international contact persons.

10th anniversary of the Deutschlandstipendium, scholarship celebration on 21.10., 5 p.m.

The scholarship holders and sponsoring institutions of the funding phase 2021/2022 were honored during the Ceremonial Awarding of the Germany Scholarships.

The event took place in a closed setting.

Open Labs on Oct. 26, 2 to 5 p.m.

On this afternoon, the lab doors of all departments of the EAH Jena were virtually open for you. You could also experience projects that are otherwise not open to the public.

Our Open Labs are not a "Long Night", but a full "Afternoon of Science".

The program has been worked out and can be viewed here. The links to the events will be activated on October 26.
